Health Data: When you use the SnapBP app, we collect blood pressure readings and related health metrics that you voluntarily enter. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple HealthKit.
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and subscription information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the SnapBP service
- Store and track your blood pressure readings
- Generate charts and health insights
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Communicate with you about updates and support
HealthKit & Health Data
SnapBP integrates with Apple HealthKit to store and retrieve health data. By using HealthKit-enabled features, you acknowledge the following:
- Local Storage: Your health data is stored locally on your device and in your private Apple Health database. Data is not transmitted to developer-managed servers.
- No Marketing Use: SnapBP does not use or share HealthKit data for marketing, advertising, or use-based data mining.
- No Sale of Health Data: We never sell your health data to third parties.
- Purpose: Health data is used solely for displaying your blood pressure trends, generating charts, and providing wellness insights within the app.
Data Storage and Security
Your health data is stored primarily on your device using Apple HealthKit. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
SnapBP uses the following third-party services:
- Apple HealthKit: Stores health data on your device
- Apple StoreKit: Processes in-app subscriptions and payments
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent
- With service providers who assist in operating our app (such as Apple for data storage and payment processing)
- As required by law or to protect our rights
Your Rights

How to Delete Your Health Data
You can delete your health data at any time using the following methods:
- Delete Individual Readings: Open the SnapBP app and delete specific blood pressure readings from your history.
- Delete All App Data: Delete the SnapBP app from your device, which removes all locally stored data.
- Revoke HealthKit Access: Go to iOS Settings > Privacy > Health > SnapBP and toggle off access. This prevents the app from reading or writing to Apple Health.
- Request Data Export: Contact us at support@snapbp.com to request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Children’s Privacy
SnapBP is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
Medical Device Disclaimer
Important: SnapBP is a data logging and visualization tool. It is not a medical device and does not measure blood pressure using device sensors. Always use a validated external medical-grade cuff for measurements. The American Heart Association (AHA) categories used in the app are for General Wellness and Educational Purposes only.
