Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the SnapBP mobile application and website.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the SnapBP application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Medical Device Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SnapBP is a data logging and visualization tool. It is not a medical device and does not measure blood pressure using device sensors. Always use a validated external medical-grade cuff for measurements.

The blood pressure readings, trends, and insights provided by SnapBP are for General Wellness and Educational Purposes only. The American Heart Association (AHA) categories used in the app are for educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider for:

  • Medical diagnosis or treatment
  • Interpretation of health data
  • Decisions about medications or lifestyle changes
  • Any medical concerns or emergencies

In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

Subscription Terms

SnapBP may offer subscription-based features with auto-renewable subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Subscription Plans: Subscription plans include Monthly and Annual access as displayed in the App’s purchase screen.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle through your Apple ID account.
  • Free Trial: If a free trial period is offered (e.g., 7-day free trial), you will not be charged during the trial period. After the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current subscription price unless canceled before the trial ends.
  • Cancellation: Subscriptions must be managed and canceled through your Apple ID account settings. To cancel, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device, or manage through your Apple ID account online.
  • Refunds: All billing is handled by Apple. We (the developer) cannot process refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through their support channels.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Your use of SnapBP is subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete health information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to access other users’ data
  • Not reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of SnapBP and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPBP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SnapBP and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where SnapBP operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
